The purpose of this organization is to bring together students who are passionate about digital storytelling, content creation, and social media influencer marketing. The club will serve as a creative community where students can learn, collaborate and develop skills in social media strategy, personal branding, and content production across social media platforms.
Collaboration Opportunities: Participate in creative projects with other students, campus organizations, and Sacred Heart University’s main social media accounts. Skill Development: Gain hands-on experience in content production, social media analytics, and digital branding. Leadership Opportunities: Become eligible to run for executive board positions by meeting participation requirements. Networking Benefits: Connect with peers, alumni, and industry professionals in marketing, communications, and digital media. Account Growth & Portfolio Building: Grow your personal social media following and use club projects to strengthen your portfolio and résumé. Member Collaborations: Collaborate with other SHUfluencers members at least twice per semester, using relevant trends and tagging SHU when appropriate. Collaboration with SHU Marketing & Communications: Create at least two pieces of social media content to share with the university’s Marketing & Communications office. Analytics & Performance Tracking: Track and report views, likes, comments, and shares on collaborative posts at the end of each semester.
