This event includes a screening of Katrina: Come Hell and High Water, a documentary that explores how Hurricane Katrina’s impact was intensified by racial and environmental inequities in New Orleans. After the film, attendees will join a guided conversation and a “Compassion Wall” activity to reflect on the human and systemic dimensions of the disaster and consider meaningful actions they can take in their own communities. The aim is to spark thoughtful dialogue, deepen understanding, and inspire compassionate engagement.
