About Us
The student-led and operated Social Work Club (SWC) seeks to supplement the efforts of the School of Social Work by dismantling and resisting all forms of social inequality, specifically as it relates to social work practice. It should be noted membership is not limited to social work students as the Social Work Club (SWC) actively works to promote inclusion of interprofessional disciplines; anyone who wishes to work toward the common good and advocate for vulnerable populations are welcome. The club’s emphasis is on mentorship and networking within the field of social work as well as other professions. With the goal to advance the rights of all human beings, especially those belonging to vulnerable populations.
