The Sacred Heart University Math Club strives to increase awareness and enjoyment of mathematics. Such efforts include: an annual Alumni Night where former majors from SHU come back to speak with current students about their careers and how their math backgrounds have supported them; gathering information on graduate schools and displaying them; making math a discipline for all students; inviting mathemiticians to speak on campus; and reaching out to local elementary/intermediate schools to promote math.
